Good Samaritan was once again the beneficiary of the Mississippi Championship Hot Air Balloon Fest.
Dozens of hot air balloons led a fun-filled weekend for all to enjoy. From a party on the Square in Canton to a Special Shape Fiesta, Good Sam was truly having fun and making a difference. To see pictures from the festival click here or on the Good Sam Balloon!
Alicia Sullivan, a recent transplant from Florida, is the winner of Good Sam’s American Flag Motor Scooter Raffle. All proceeds from the raffle went to Good Sam’s School Supply Program, which helps approximately 1500 kids in the Jackson Public School District. Alicia bought her winning ticket at the Mississippi Championship Hot Air Balloon Fest. So, if you see her crusin’ around Jackson be sure to tell her congratulations!
Good Sam staff cheered on about 800 marathoners, including two of our own - Kathy & Karen Clem, at the Renaissance Half Marathon on June 28th.
Good Sam was one of only four cheer stations for the hundreds of motivated runners. As always, we like to have fun and make a difference, which is what we did with our theme “Saturday Mornin’ Fever,” a tribute to the Disco Era.
The event was a ton of fun and we had a great opportunity to cheer on marathoners and let people know more about Good Sam.
