Starting Monday, October 24th, the social service staff of Good Samaritan Center will begin taking Christmas assistance applications. We will take them every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays for three weeks (10/24, 10/26, 10/27, 10/31, 11/2, 11/3, 11/7, 11/9, and 11/10 at 10 am and 1 pm).

A fundraiser for the Good Samaritan Center, 12k's for the Holidays Charity Run is a great way to start the holiday season. The 12k run, 5k run and 5k walk traditionally winds through the beautiful historic Cedars of Fondren neighborhood in Jackson, Mississippi the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Good Samaritan Center’s Volunteer Saturday is the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9 am to noon. We have a variety of activities available for ages 8 and up. All children ages 8-12 must be accompanied by a parent. Minors 12 and up must be accompanied by a chaperone. Groups welcome.
