Races 4 a Cause

Make your training and racing more meaningful and FUN, while supporting a great cause – The Good Samaritan Center has 3 races throughout the year (four if you count our Bike Ride) in the Greater Jackson Area. 12k’s for the Holidays– a holiday themed 5 k walk or run or a 12k run plus a one mile free kids run on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in the fabulous Fondren neighborhood in Jackson. The race starts and ends (with an amazing after party) at the  Cedars.

Kick Up The Dust– a beginner friendly 4k, 8k, or 14k trail run on Saturday, April 19, 2025 starting and stopping at Choctaw Trails (home of the MS College Cross Country team).

Balloon Chase-a 10/30 mile bike ride in the morning and/or a 2/4 mile walk or run plus kids half mile fun run near July 4, 2025. The fun event happens in conjunction with the MS Hot Air Balloon Fest in Canton, MS.
