Golf Ball Drop Fundraiser: Linda Case Won $2000!
Good Sam had a Golf Ball Drop Fundraiser at the Mississippi Championship Hot Air Balloon Fest on Saturday, July 3rd. Participants bought balls for $10 and got a chance to win $2000.
For the 2010 Good Sam Golf Ball Drop the Winner was Ball #54 - Linda Case of Canton, Mississippi.
A huge congratulations to Linda and we hope you will consider participating next year! You could be the next winner.
Food Donations are Tremendously Low!
Due to the state of the Economy, Good Sam is serving more and more in need of food. At the present rate of usage, Good Sam hardly has enough food to serve hungry families in need for a few weeks. Last week, we were down to our last case of tuna!
Last year, Good Sam served over 46,000 meals out of the food pantry and the present rate, we look to exceed that number in 2010.
We need your help to restock our Food Pantry with fresh and canned meats, canned veggies, mac & cheese boxes, cereals, grits, etc. A special thank you goes to Wesley Chapel for conducting a food drive for Good Sam’s pantry. If you or your group would like to help by donating or conducting a food drive, call us at 601-355-6276.
